Web3 Wallets are a type of Custodial Wallets that allow token transfers, contract calls, and message signing. You can create multiple wallets to suit your business needs.

Prerequisites

  • Set up your account and complete other required steps following the Quick start guide.
  • You have been assigned the Operator role or a customized role with equivelant permissions.
  • Contact Cobo’s customer support at help@cobo.com to enable Web3 Wallets. If you do not request activation, the Web3 Wallets tab will not appear on the Custodial Wallets page. Once enabled, a wallet named Default Web3 Wallet will be automatically created, and a wallet address will be generated for each activated chain.

Steps

To set up a Web3 Wallet on Cobo Portal, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into Cobo Portal.
  2. Click and select Custodial Wallets.
  3. Click Create Wallet.
  4. Fill in your preferred Wallet Name (up to 30 characters), select Web3 Wallet as Wallet Type, then click Create.
  5. The new wallet will appear on your dashboard once created.

Next steps

After setting up a Web3 Wallet, you can:

  • Wallet
    • View the transaction history of the wallet.
    • Launch Cobo Connect.
    • View the details of the wallet.
  • Address
    • Create an address.
    • Initiate a deposit into or withdrawal from the address.
    • Launch Cobo Connect.
    • View the transaction history of the address.
    • View the details of the address.
    • Modify the address label.
  • Token
    • Add token types to your wallet. If you can’t find the token you’re looking for, you can request token self-listing.
    • Initiate a deposit into or withdrawal from the wallet.
    • Initiate a withdrawal from the wallet.
    • View the details of the token.
    • Search, filter, and sort the tokens in the wallet.
