Free trial

With the 14-day free trial, you can experience Cobo Portal and access the corresponding wallets at no cost. Your usage limits and permissions will be identical to the Starter Plan. Once your free trial expires or when you hit the usage limits of the free trial, your access will be restricted to “view-only” mode for MPC and Exchange Wallets. A paid subscription is required to restore full functionality.

Choose Your Plan

  • Starter plan and Standard plan: These plans are designed for small and growing businesses with relatively low usage requirements.
  • Enterprise plan: The Enterprise plan is designed for businesses that require higher usage and custom implementations. If you’re interested in our Enterprise plan, reach out to our sales team who will assist you in finding a custom plan that best suits your needs.
Each pricing plan offers two distinct usage quota categories designed to cater to the specific needs of Wallet as a Service and Treasury Management customers. The table below outlines the key characteristics of each quota category:
Target UsersExamplesCharacteristics
Wallet as a ServiceBusinesses that create digital asset wallets programmatically by using Cobo’s WaaS APIExchanges, crypto native firms, OTC & brokerages, and retail platformsHigher quota values for outgoing transfer volume and the number of wallet addresses
Treasury ManagementBusinesses that want to safeguard and manage their digital assets directly within Cobo PortalDeFi & staking funds, trading firms, institutional investors, and financial servicesHigher quota value for Assets Under Custody
  • Decision Tree for Choosing Your Plan:
    • Step 1: Choose Your Wallet Type: First, determine whether you require Full Custodial Wallets or MPC Wallets.
      • Starter & Standard Plans: Support MPC Wallets only.
      • Enterprise Plan: Supports both Full Custodial and MPC Wallets.
      • How to Choose Between Full Custodial and MPC?
        • 1. Regulatory and Client Requirements
Consider whether your regulators or clients mandate the use of a licensed institutional custodian or a multi-party computation (MPC) signing mechanism. Cobo is a qualified service provider that meets both requirements.
        • 2. KYT (Know Your Transaction) Needs Consider if and how you want to perform KYT screening: Full Custodial Wallets: KYT is automatically integrated, and the costs are included in the transaction fees. MPC Wallets: Does not include automatic KYT. You can use Cobo’s Screening App to assist with compliance, or manage it independently. If your project does not require KYT, MPC wallets may be more suitable.
        • 3. Integration Complexity Full Custodial Wallets: Offer a simpler integration path. They are ideal for clients seeking ease of use and convenience, as they reduce the burden of managing security architecture and private keys. MPC Wallets: Integration is more complex. You may need to integrate key shards and signing logic into your application (e.g., in a 2-2 threshold scheme, the end-user holds one of the shards). Recommendation: If you prioritize a fast and effortless setup, Full Custodial Wallets are the preferred choice.
    • Step 2: Choose Based on Usage
      • If you need Full Custodial Wallets: You must select the Enterprise Plan.
      • If you need MPC Wallets: You can choose between Starter, Standard, or Enterprise by evaluating the following metrics:
        • Monthly Outgoing Transfer Volume
        • Number of Wallet Addresses
        • API Call Quotas
        • Number of Team Members
      • Pro Tip: If your project is in its early stages, start with a lower-tier plan. As your business grows, you can either pay a small overage fee for extra usage or upgrade to a higher tier at any time.

How to Start a Freetrial and Upgrade

You can sign up on your own to start a 14-day free trial and experience the full power of Cobo. During or after your trial, you can self-upgrade to the Starter or Standard plan directly within the product at any time. For the Enterprise plan, please contact our sales team for a custom solution.

Usage items

The following list provides an overview of the usage items included in the pricing plans. Please note that the specific usage items may vary depending on the plan you select.
  • Outgoing Transfer Volume: The total volume of assets you have withdrawn to external addresses. Transfers within and between Custodial Wallets, MPC Wallets, and Smart Contract Wallets are not counted as outgoing transfers.
  • Asset Under Custody: The total volume of assets you store within Cobo Portal.
  • Wallet Addresses: The number of addresses you have generated.
  • Supported Chains: The number of chains you have enabled. Once a chain is enabled, it is considered in use and will count toward your plan inclusion. For more information, see Enable or disable chains.
  • API Calls: The number of WaaS API requests you have sent. This is calculated for the entire organization.
  • Users: The number of users in your organization. This is calculated for the entire organization.
Once your free trial expires or when you hit the usage limits of the free trial, you will only be able to view your MPC Wallets and Exchange Wallets. All other features and capabilities will be available to you once you have purchased our paid plans. For paid plans, once you reach your usage limits, you will need to pay overage charges for any usage exceeding the limits at the corresponding unit price. In such cases, you have the option to purchase add-on packages at a discounted rate or upgrade to a higher-tier plan.
