# Withdraw button does not respond

> Learn what to check when the withdraw or transfer button does not respond and shows no error.

**Applicable to: All wallets**

If you click the withdraw or transfer button and nothing happens - for example, on a newly created wallet - verify the following before retrying:

1. You hold the **Spender** role scoped to the wallet you are withdrawing from.
2. The wallet has enough balance to cover both the withdrawal amount and the on-chain gas fee, and the amount is available as spendable balance (not locked by another in-flight transaction).
