# Vault management
> Learn how to manage vaults in User-Controlled Wallets, including creation and configuration.
## Overview
A project is a collection of vaults, and a vault is a collection of wallets. See [Object model](/en/portal/mpc-wallets/ucw/object-model).
## Create a vault
A vault can only be created using the [WaaS 2.0 API](https://www.cobo.com/developers/v2/guides/overview/introduction). To create a vault, see **Complete the Initial setup** > **Create a vault** on [Get started with MPC Wallets (User-Controlled Wallets)](https://www.cobo.com/developers/v2/guides/mpc-wallets/get-started-ucw#1-complete-the-initial-setup).
## Manage a vault
Once you've [created a project](/en/portal/mpc-wallets/ucw/project-management#create-a-project) and [created a vault](/en/portal/mpc-wallets/ucw/vault-management#create-a-vault), you can manage your vault.
Follow these instructions to manage a specific vault.
1. Log in to [Cobo Portal](https://portal.cobo.com/login).
2. Click **Wallets** in the left sidebar, then select **MPC Wallets** > **User-Controlled Wallets**, then click a project to open its own management page, then click a vault to enter its management page.
On the vault's management page, you can manage both the vault and the wallets in it. You can click **Export Addresses & Balances** 
, **Transactions** 
, **Key Share Management** 
, or **Edit Vault Name** 
to manage the vault.
To manage the wallets in the vault, find a wallet you want to manage, then click **View Transaction History** , **Edit Wallet Name** , or **View Details**
