# Introduction to Cobo Connect

> An introduction to Cobo Connect, detailing its features and benefits for seamless integration with decentralized applications and services.

<Note>We recommend using [WalletConnect](/en/walletconnect/introduction) whenever possible for better multi-chain support and overall user experience. Cobo Connect will be gradually phased out based on actual usage and will remain available during the transition period.</Note>

Cobo Connect is a Chrome extension that enables you to connect your [Cobo Portal](/en/portal/introduction) wallets with dApps. After you make the connection, Cobo Connect will identify each transaction and message from the dApps and process them based on your pre-configured [risk control policies](/en/portal/risk-controls/introduction) in Cobo Portal.
