# Bridge a token

## Overview

Learn how to transfer tokens across different blockchains using Token Swap's Bridge feature.

## Prerequisites

* You have installed [Token Swap](/en/apps/token-swap/introduction) following the instructions in [Browse and install apps](/en/apps/browse-and-install).
* You have been assigned the [Spender](/en/portal/risk-controls/roles-and-permissions) role or a role with equivalent permissions in your [organization](/en/portal/organization/introduction).
* You are bridging a token within your [Custodial Wallet](/en/portal/custodial-wallets/introduction) or [MPC Wallet](/en/portal/mpc-wallets/introduction).
* Any wallets you want to use with Bridge have been added to Token Swap's **Wallet Scopes** in [App Settings](/en/apps/app-settings).
* The token and chains you want to bridge between are [supported](/en/apps/token-swap/bridge/supported-assets).

## Steps to bridge a token

1. Click **Apps** in the left sidebar of [Cobo Portal](https://portal.cobo.com/login), find **Token Swap**, and then click **Open**.
2. Click **Bridge Now** to start a new bridge transaction.
3. Select a wallet to conduct the bridge transaction.
4. Select a token and chain to bridge from and enter the amount.
5. Select a token and chain to bridge to, then click **Preview**.
6. Review the transaction details, then click **Submit**.
7. Enter your Google Authenticator code.
8. Your bridge request has now been submitted. You can monitor the transaction status in the **Activity** table within the **Bridge** tab of the app. The bridging process may take some time depending on network conditions and the chains involved.
